Welcome Back to Kilvington

Today is the first day of term for our Year 7 and 12 students. The majority of students will commence on Monday and our Preps on Tuesday. I would like to extend a warm welcome to both returning students and new members of our School community. Make sure you drop in for a cuppa at the Morning Teas scheduled for your year level where you can meet or catch up with other parents and Kilvington staff.

We have lots of exciting plans for the year. There will be two key themes embedded into school life at Kilvington. Depth of Learning, which will include challenging and stretching each student to a deeper level of learning, and Depth of Character, which will focus on four key character traits – one per term – to help enhance student academic outcomes.

This semester, we will hold the much anticipated Kilvington World Fair and Open Day on Saturday 21 March. We are grateful for the support of the PFA in organising this key event.

You can find out more about the Kilvington World Fair by watching this video.

Kilvington on Facebook!

As part of our continued effort to create and maintain links with parents and students, Kilvington now has a Facebook page, where you can keep up to date with the latest news and activities. If you are a Facebook user, please head over and like our page!

Welcome Back Picnic (ELC to Year 6)

This takes place on Friday 27 February 5.30pm-8.30pm on the Kilvington Green. The picnic is a wonderful opportunity to get together and meet other parents in an informal way!

All of our events are detailed on the School calendar which can be downloaded here.

I wish you all a fantastic start to the year and year ahead.
