Marketing Coordinator

What We Are Seeking

We are seeking a proactive, organised and creative Marketing Coordinator to support the planning, delivery and optimisation of the School’s marketing activity across campaigns, digital channels, publications and prospective family communications.

The Role

This is a hands‑on, all‑rounder role suited to a self‑directed marketer who enjoys executing day‑to‑day activity while also contributing ideas, insights and continuous improvement. Working closely with the Director of Marketing and Community Engagement, the Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in supporting enrolment priorities, strengthening brand awareness and enhancing engagement with current and prospective families.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns aligned to enrolment and brand priorities
  • Coordinating key School publications, including eNewsletters and major annual publications
  • Supporting prospective family communications, including email marketing and nurture journeys
  • Assisting with the delivery of key community and enrolment events
  • Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external agencies to deliver high‑quality marketing outcomes

English Teacher

0.6 FTE (3 days per week) - Ongoing Role
Commencing Term 2, 2026

What We Are Seeking

We are seeking a passionate and skilled English educator to join our teaching team and contribute to positive student learning outcomes through high‑quality classroom practice and collaboration with colleagues.

The Role

This is a 0.6 FTE teaching role, delivered over three fixed days: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Please note that these days are not negotiable.

The successful applicant will teach English in Years 7, 9 and 10, along with Library sessions in Years 7 and 8, and contribute to a collaborative and supportive learning environment.

The role focuses on delivering engaging English programs that develop students’ literacy, critical thinking and love of reading, while also supporting information literacy and research skills through the Library program.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering high‑quality English lessons for Years 7, 9 and 10
  • Teaching Library sessions for Years 7 and 8, supporting reading engagement, research skills and information literacy
  • Developing students’ skills in reading, writing, speaking and critical analysis across a range of texts
  • Using a variety of teaching and assessment strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students
  • Collaborating with colleagues within the English Faculty and Library to support consistent teaching practices
  • Communicating effectively with students, families and relevant staff regarding student learning and progress
  • Providing reports and feedback as required
  • Attending meetings and occasional school events outside standard hours

Head of Keyboard

Full-time / Ongoing / School Term Time Only
Commencing Term 2, 2026

What We Are Seeking

We are seeking a passionate and experienced accompanist and piano teacher to join our School community as the Head of Keyboard.

The Role

The successful applicant for this full-time role will be a dynamic music educator and a skilled pianist with a proven record of excellence in teaching, performing and accompanying.

The Head of Keyboard will work closely with the Head of Instrumental Music and Head of Performing Arts to support and promote keyboard studies throughout the department, whilst overseeing our vibrant piano department, consisting of several salaried and sessional teachers and almost one hundred piano students from ELC through to Year 12.

An instrumental teaching load and accompanying duties will be part of the role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Teach piano students and theory students from beginner to VCE and Diploma Level
  • Accompany ensembles and individual students as required, eg. soirees, concerts, examinations, recitals, assembly performances etc.
  • Provide accompaniment for co-curricular programs, such as School productions, as required
  • Provide effective leadership for keyboard staff in the Music Faculty
  • Liaise with the Music Faculty instrumental staff to ensure that students receive piano accompaniment for School events, examinations etc.
  • Organise performances and intro and exit music for all assemblies and special school services
  • In consultation with the Head of Instrumental Music, organise and initiate performance opportunities for piano students eg. soirees, concerts, recitals

You work collaboratively with colleagues and build positive relationships with students and families.

VIT registration is highly desirable but not essential. Applicants who are not VIT registered must hold, or be willing to obtain, a Working With Children Check (Employee).

Experience or interest in accompaniment, ensemble work, performance programming or leadership of instrumental staff is desirable.

Expressions of Interest - Casual Replacement Teachers and Co-educators

Early Learning Centre

Kilvington Grammar School invites Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified and experienced Early Childhood Teachers and Co‑educators to join our Casual Replacement (Relief) pool within the Early Learning Centre.

These roles support the ongoing operation of the ELC by providing short‑term and ad‑hoc coverage for staff absences. Opportunities may arise throughout the school year, with hours offered on an as‑needed basis.
