Our commitment to child safety is an integral part of every aspect of the School. Therefore, every member of the School community has a responsibility to understand the important specific role they play individually and collectively to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our students is at the forefront of all that they do and every decision that they make.
All staff at Kilvington Grammar School are required to complete the School’s Child Safety and Wellbeing training program on an annual basis. The staff onboarding platform contains copies of the School’s Child Safety and Wellbeing Policies which all staff are required to read, accept and comply with.
Employment at the School is subject to the following compliance requirements:
- Applicants for teaching positions must hold registration (or permission to teach) with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
- General staff (non-teaching staff, including music tutors) must hold, or be prepared to undergo, a Working with Children Check and a National Police Check.

History Teacher
PART TIME
Kilvington Grammar School is an outstanding independent co-educational school that has a strong focus on staff and student wellbeing. We are now seeking an enthusiastic and passionate History teacher for a part-time 3 term contract position commencing in Term 2, 2024 and concluding in Term 4, 2024.
This position has a time fraction of 0.80 working Monday to Thursday with Fridays off. The role will commence on Tuesday 22 April, 2024.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Year 7 and Year 10 History, as well as a Year 9 Legal Studies elective..
