At Kilvington, we understand that learning is a partnership between school and home. We have an exceptionally engaged parent community who are not only involved in their children’s’ educational journey, but are active in strengthening our community through joining the PFA (Parents’ and Friends’ Association), their volunteering efforts, attendance at key functions, and participating in School fundraising.

The Kilvington Kelpies running club is open to staff, students (from Year 3) and parents! They meet at the breezeway every Tuesday morning from 7.25am – come rain, hail or sunshine!

Our students are encouraged to develop a community service focus through regular fundraising efforts, and volunteering. This is a particular focus in the Power of 9, Year 9 Curriculum.

This continues after our students leave with an active and dynamic Alumni, the Kilvonians. We are thrilled to see so many former students attending Reunions and other important events, as well as generously supporting fundraising efforts.

Many of our students go on to work in community service roles illustrating the culture of care and love of community at Kilvington.
